FAQ

Questions hoteliers and restaurateurs ask

Does it work with Booking.com and other booking sites?

It complements them; it does not bypass them. Guests who booked through Booking.com, Airbnb or similar platforms are answered only through the channels those platforms allow, and the assistant follows their rules, including not moving guests off the platform. It helps most with enquiries that come to you directly, on your website, by email or on WhatsApp, which can become direct bookings. We check what your setup allows on the first call.

Which languages can it answer in?

It replies in the language the guest writes in. Your team can read a summary of every conversation in their own language. Before launch we test the languages that matter most to you.

Will it make bookings without us?

Only if you want it to. By default, bookings, table reservations, refunds and exceptions are prepared for a person to approve. Routine answers, like opening hours or directions, can go out on their own.

Does it work with our booking or reservation system?

Often, but it depends on the system and the access it allows. We look at your tools on the first call and tell you honestly what can be connected and what cannot.

Do guests know they are talking to an assistant?

Yes. We recommend being open about it, and the assistant hands over to a person whenever a guest asks for one.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

Your first assistant is ready in 2–3 weeks. The price is agreed per project after a short call, and you pay only if it saves your team time.

Who will we work with?

A small, founder-led team. You talk to the people who build your assistant. Prefer email? Write to tigran@tigolab.com.
